0907:A day that sadly no longer remembered

again,I have decided to share something a part of democracy,also used to be an issue in my 'Debat' training.

Street Rally,Assembly and Demonstration,are these activities bring harm to our country?do they affect the stability of our social,economy and politic?

Just want to highlight,this is just a personal refection based on my understanding,reading and discussion with particular people and groups.

I will bring BERSIH 2.0 as the main model and focus for this writing.BERSIH 2.0 is a rally or maybe for some it's just a demonstration.Happened in 9 July 2011,thousand of Malaysian citizen,from different main races;Malays,Indians,and Chineses,Sabahan and Sarawakian;indigenous,old or young,bloggers,political supporters,opposition prominent leaders,goverment and privates servants and also representative of student movement and other NGOs and associations.They came along with banners,national flags,rise up their slogans for free,fair and clean election.

Before they started,together they sang 'Negaraku' with the spirit of democracy and prayed for 'doa' by certain people.They gathered everywhere;Pudu Station,Petaling Street,around the plaza,and mainly they were heading to the stadium.However,along the trails,they were attacked and detained by the huge force of fierce looking policemen,several prominent leaders;Ambiga,Siva were arrested.Sources reported Pakatan's Leader DS Anwar Ibrahim and his assistant were badly injured and were bring by the people to the hospital nearby.

Some people said,this kind of 'riot' had devastated the economic activities on that day.The 'so-called-riot' also believed by some people had brought fear to the tourist,hence affected the tourism side.As my counter argument,is that sound logic or relevent if only one day occasion(so the stalls,shops needed to be closed on that day) had already devastated the economy growth?i repeat,one day???if you're refering to the situation in Egypt,the riot happened everywhere around Cairo,Alexandria,Tahrir,almost all time,everyday,so in the matter of fact we can accept those would devastated the economy and socioeconomy.

Second,they said this 'riot'(BERSIH 2.0) would affected the unity among races in this country.What an ironic thing as i already said earlier before that the supporter of this occasion joined by different races.LOL,how come this will break the bond between races???Realize this,they witnessed the people watched each other's back.

I'm not the one who intended to manipulate the readers' mind but I just want to show and explain or rather i said earlier as 'sharing' to the people 'the truth that cannot be covered' on 0907,a day that sadly no longer remembered by some people.
